Summer Inspiration

I’m so sorry for my absence last week. Bryan’s family lost his grandfather. You can read more about it here, but for now, I’m excited to be reminded of the little things in life that are worth cherishing and savoring.

Here is a little bit of summer inspiration, that honestly, has got me salivating. I am desperate for a really hot afternoon on the beach. I need some sun and enough heat to warrant shorts and a tank top. This long cold spring has got me really excited for what’s coming up!

The Grover’s Porch: Before and After

Photographers Aimee and Troy Grover were recently given permission by their landlord to transform the planter in the front of their house into a little porch. I know you will agree with me that it turned out so incredibly cute. I’m so excited to share this little project with you!

Beach Ready

It may not be quite warm enough for sun bathing, but now’s the time to get your beach gear ready. I wouldn’t love anything more than to have a linen closet shelf full of coordinated beach towels. This minor compulsion has lead my roommate to believe I’m OCD. Say it isn’t so! I just like every part of the house to look pretty–even if it is the linen closet! Is it weird that I’d want a matching beach bag?
